Arts and Entertainment from EzineArticles.com
Purchasing art materials can be hard if you are an aspiring artist because there are so many products to choose from. There are numerous retailers that supply cheap art materials which are ideal for children but not appropriate for aspiring artists who require high calibre products so you must be prepared to research what you need. The cost of an item is not always representative of its quality as sometimes inexpensive paper products can work as well as the more premium priced brands but this not the case for all supplies.

Bad business you’ve gotten yourself into, dude!
Rick Springfield was formally charged with two counts of DUI this morning stemming from his arrest in Malibu last May. Because they are just misdemeanor charges, Rick faces a maximum of 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine. If they were felony charges, FORGET ABOUT IT!
Rick also got off doubly easy as the police department decided not to press charges for Rick’s outlandish remarks to the arresting officers. As we recall, he muttered something about have them “f*cking killed.” However, an L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. spokesperson explained officials did not take the threat seriously, saying:
“It is rare when a drunk doesn’t say something outlandish to police when they’re arrested.”
Truth!
Well, you brought this on to yourself Rick. Hopefully, you’ve learned your lesson!

Prince William and Kate Middleton continue their tour of Canada and this weekend spent some time hanging with the common folk at a drop in shelter for young people. Wills played some fooseball while Kate admired the surroundings. Altho the royal pair may have looked out of place, their cherry dispositions seemed to show that they really had a good time.

While many will dismiss this visit to this shelter as nothing more than a photo op, I honestly believe that William and Kate enjoy meeting people and visiting places like this. That said, how amazing would it have been if Willy and Katie had dressed down a bit to blend in better
Still … these photos are great, I love these two.

Some more bad news for Netflix!
Not only have they raised their prices, leaving customers VERY upset, but they’ve also just recently lost out on their deal with Starz, dropping their stock price by 9% last Friday.
And NOW they have new competition.
The Dish Network is looking into releasing their own movie subscription that will include online streaming as well as mail and in-store rentals, AND on-demand rentals.
Dish also owns Blockbuster, which means they would be getting existing customers as well as possibly picking up the Starz deal that was broken with Netflix.
This is some major competition for Netflix and with so many customers angry at the company for raising their prices, they could very well see another drop in user subscriptions.
Yikes!! We’d think twice about our pricing decisions if we were you, Netflix! Things aren’t looking good for you…

How to Buy Used Records Online
Many people use eBay to sell and buy items new and used. It’s an excellent way to make money off something that’s been sitting around collecting dust or to find something that you’ve been searching for that is no longer sold in retail stores. Selling vinyl records on eBay is a big business and you can get in on some of the action, too.

Soothing Qualities of Relaxing Piano Music
Vinyl records have stood the test of time throughout the years for several reasons and they will most likely continue to be the favorite of many music fanatics for a long time to come. CDs, MP3s and MP4s may be the cutting-edge technology but nothing can compare to classic songs recorded on an original vinyl record. Vinyl records have several benefits over other types of music formats, with the most important being the sound.

Piano tuning, in contrast to other instruments, for instance a guitar is significantly more complex to tune. Not only does it require making tiny adjustments in the piano strings to calibrate the intervals between their pitches, the interaction among the notes themselves also have to be tuned. Thus every piano may have slightly different pitches from each other, and still be called “in tune”.

Last night, George Lopez threw the first pitch at Dodger Stadium with a smile on his face and seeminly no care in the world.
Of course, we all know that isn’t true. Tonight will end the short-lived, but mildly successful run of Lopez Tonight, his TBS talk show. The cancellation was swift and abrupt, but George didn’t want to talk about that at the game. No, instead he want to chat about an important woman in his life, a woman who may have even play an intrical part in helping him get his show to begin with – Sandra Bullock.
The pair have been longtime friends and supporters of each other and it doesn’t seem like that will be changing anytime soon. George explained:
“If it wasn’t for her involvement in me, or her belief in me, I would have had a very different last 10 years. She invested in me, and she wouldn’t take no for an answer. And with that, and just who she is, she has my undying love, and my undying loyalty. Every day I thank her for believing in me.”
That’s really nice. Must be so nice go through life, knowing you have support like that. Nothing could take the place of that. No amount of money or fame. This is what its all about.
You’ll land on your feet, George. You’ve got good friends and a good heart. Enjoy tonight and then its on to the future!

We wonder if he’ll have a solid argument!
Johnny Gill was recently sued by a record producer who claimed that the New Edition star damaged her reputation by writing on Twitter that she leaked one of his songs onto the internet!
However, he’s claiming that this is bull shiz, because people shouldn’t be allowed to sue over the social networking site!
He claims:
“The courtrooms would be filled with a bunch of Twitter people complaining about things people say every day…It’s freedom of speech.”
That’s true – but if she didn’t do it and you published that she did, then that’s libel, Sir!
We suppose we’ll see how the courts feel!
